Frida The Labrador Is Working Hard Rescuing People From Recent Mexican Earthquake

Meet Frida, a Labrador Retriever from the Mexican Navy’s Canine Unit, who’s working very hard trying to save lives from the recent Mexican earthquake in Oaxaca. During her 7-year-old career, this girl has already rescued 53 people, including 12 survivors from the recent disaster. The 8.1 magnitude earthquake that devastated Oaxaca earlier this month killed at least 245 people and injured more than 2,000. Therefore, search and rescue dogs are of highest importance these days in Mexico City. They all have to wear special goggles and doggy boots to protect themselves from smoke and debris. We call them the best boys!
